Package Description: Package Description As a Bank Catering Assistant within HCRG Care Group, youll be part of a supportive and friendly catering team helping to provide high quality meals and refreshments to patients, staff and visitors at Sheppey Community Hospital. You will play an important role in supporting patient wellbeing by helping deliver high quality food and refreshments within a safe, hygienic and caring environment. The role will support both patient catering services and the hospital restaurant. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in delivering excellent service and can work efficiently within a busy environment. Main Responsibilities Prepare and serve food and beverages to patients, staff and visitors Deliver patient meals accurately, professionally and courteously Assist with basic food preparation and stock rotation Maintain cleanliness within kitchen, dining and service areas Follow food safety, hygiene and infection prevention procedures at all times Operate catering equipment safely and responsibly Support the catering team during busy service periods Wash utensils, trays and kitchen equipment Ensure dietary requirements and allergen procedures are followed correctly What Were Looking For We are looking for someone who has: Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment A caring, professional and customer-focused approach Flexible availability to work shifts, weekends and bank holidays Good awareness of cleanliness and food hygiene standards Desirable: Previous catering, kitchen or hospitality experience Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification Experience working within healthcare or large-scale catering environments About Us At HCRG Care Group, we are committed to delivering high quality care and support services within our communities.
