Job Title: Sous Chef An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sous Chef to join a well-established, independently operated restaurant in West London. The kitchen focuses on high-quality seasonal ingredients, modern European influences, and fresh food prepared from scratch. The business has built a strong local reputation for delivering consistently high standards in a busy, service-led environment. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play a key role in leading the kitchen team, maintaining food quality, developing junior chefs, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Sous Chef Benefits: • £45,000 basic salary • Service charge circa £12,000 per annum • 48-hour contract • Stable working environment with a supportive senior team • Opportunity to be part of a respected and growing hospitality business Sous Chef brief duties: • Support the Head Chef with all aspects of kitchen management • Lead services in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment • Assist with menu development and seasonal changes • Train and mentor junior members of the brigade • Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards • Support stock control and ordering procedures Sous Chef requirements: • Previous Sous Chef experience within a reputable food led operation • Strong organisational and leadership skills • Calm under pressure with excellent attention to detail • Passion for seasonal produce and quality cooking • Ambitious and committed to developing your career
