As a working Chef, you will have additional responsibility for the control and administration of a unit kitchen. Directing and developing the unit team, co-ordinating activities and maintaining standards. What you'll do: - Lead kitchen operations. - Prepare dishes to spec, following recipe sheets and allergen guidelines. - Manage food production, reduce waste, and maintain stock control. - Receive and store deliveries using FIFO procedures. - Allocate tasks and mentor the kitchen team. - Maintain hygiene standards and oversee deep cleans. - Ensure all team members are trained and compliant. - Maintain regular, positive and productive communication with client and client representatives. - Control all handling, collection, recording, and transfer of cash. What we're looking for: - UK residency for the past 3 years and legal right to work. - Ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks. - Strong Leadership, kitchen management, and culinary skills. - Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with high volume customers SVQ Level 2&3 - Calm under pressure, organised, and ready for a trade test.
