We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing a team. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Assist in maintaining a positive atmosphere within the kitchen, promoting teamwork and hospitality. Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in supervising staff is highly desirable. A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with team members and management.
