Why this role is special At Northwood, you’ll help lead a high‑performing kitchen where pace, teamwork, and creativity come together. You’ll take charge of daily operations when the Head Chef is off‑site, producing up to 300 meals at a time and keeping service running smoothly. Organisation, calmness under pressure, and a passion for great food are key. Security Requirements Due to the nature of our work, you must: - Have lived in the UK for the past 3 years - Have the legal right to work in the UK - Be able to pass full security vetting and an enhanced DBS check What we offer - A rare schedule in hospitality: 40 hours per week, 5 days a week, with Sous Chef hours typically Monday–Friday, shifts between 0600-2030, overseeing lunch & Dinner service — giving you your later evenings back.
