Assist the Head Chef in the day-to-day management and operation of the kitchen. Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and standards. Supervise and support kitchen staff during food preparation and service. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations. Assist with menu planning, stock control, ordering, and reducing food waste. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and kitchen efficiency. Take responsibility for the kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef. Help train, motivate, and develop junior kitchen staff.
