Job Description: About The Role Are you a disciplined and experienced Chef looking for a stable, high-volume role where you can lead a section and deliver essential service? We are seeking a dedicated Chef De Partie to join our large-scale catering operation within a secure residential facility in Altrincham. This is a non-commercial, contract-style environment where the focus is on providing consistent, nutritious, and culturally appropriate meals to a fixed resident population. As a key member of our brigade, you will support the Catering Manager and Sous Chef in maintaining the highest standards of production and compliance across our 7-day operation. Key Responsibilities • Section Leadership: Take full ownership of your assigned kitchen section, ensuring all food is prepared, stored, and served to the highest safety and hygiene standards. • Batch Production: Prepare and cook large batches of meals in line with set menus, ensuring they are wholesome, fresh, and meet the specific dietary and cultural needs of our residents. • Operational Efficiency: Work effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet strict daily production targets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. • Compliance & Safety: Uphold rigorous standards for allergen control, HACCP, and food safety. Ensure all due diligence recording (temperature checks, wastage logs) is accurate and up to date. • Stock & Quality Control: Support stock management, strict portion control, and waste reduction to ensure the operation remains efficient. • Team Support: Assist with menu planning and adapt recipes where required to meet operational needs.
