About the role
An outstanding opportunity has become available for an experienced Head Pastry Chef to join one of the Channel Islands' leading fine dining restaurants. This is a chance to take ownership of a highly respected pastry department, producing exceptional desserts, artisan pastries and handcrafted chocolates within a quality-driven kitchen. The Role You will lead the pastry team, maintaining the highest standards while driving creativity and innovation across the dessert offering. Key responsibilities include: -Leading and developing the pastry team. -Designing seasonal dessert and pastry menus. -Producing handcrafted chocolates, bonbons, truffles, petits fours and chocolate showpieces. -Ensuring exceptional consistency, presentation and quality. -Managing ordering, stock control and GP. -Training and mentoring junior chefs. -Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards.
