Vacancy Location: Ty Newydd, Crown Road, Maesteg, CF34 0LN Shifts: 28.5 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis) Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour Sponsorship: This service does not provide support for visa sponsorship This role offers: • 10- hour shifts between 8am and 6pm • 3 days per week (28.5 hours per week, 30 minute break) • Alternative weekends working • Autonomy to suggest and lead themed food events and special celebration days • The opportunity to create and manage an annual events calendar We encourage creativity. If you have ideas for seasonal menus, cultural food days, bake-offs or garden parties- we want to hear them. Your ideas can shape the experiences of the people we support. Based at Ty Newydd, in Maesteg, we provide nursing care for 16 adults over the age of 18. We offer a place called home for people with a range of complex specialist mental health needs. As our Chef, you will play a vital role in the heart of the home- the kitchen. You’ll prepare fresh, nutritious, home-cooked meals tailored to individual needs and preferences, consulting with colleagues to plan varied menus that meet dietary requirements, including guidance from SALT and other professionals.
