Sodexo is looking for a dedicated Chef to join the team at Bulford, Wiltshire. In this role,you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals, ensuringexcellent standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene. You willwork as part of a professional catering team, using your culinary expertise todeliver great food and a reliable service every day. What you’ll do: Assist with the preparation, cooking, and service of meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring full compliance with EHO guidelines Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding service Prepare and serve meals for military personnel, ensuring high standards are maintained every day Oversee kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring best practices are consistently followed Support high-profile events and special functions, showcasing your culinary skills and expertise Take part in bulk cooking, maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes What you bring: Previous cook experience within a catering, hospitality, or food service environment, ideally within military or government catering, with a minimum of 5 years’ culinary experience Relevant culinary qualifications such as City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards, with IOSH qualification desirable Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-focused environment while maintaining high standards Passion for food, excellent attention to detail, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook What we offer: Working with Sodexo is more thana job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.You’ll belong in acompany and team that values you for you; you’ll act with purpose and have animpact through your everyday actions; and you’ll be able to thrive in your ownway.
