More detail about the role The role involves assisting with the planning and costing of menus, ordering catering supplies and food provisions, and preparing and cooking a variety of meals, including specialised and culturally diverse diets. Responsibility is also held for ensuring that all food safety, hygiene, and health standards are consistently maintained. In addition, the position requires supervising and managing the kitchen team, preparing staff rotas, and ensuring the appropriate skill mix is in place to deliver an efficient and cost-effective catering service. The role also includes providing technical advice, guidance, and training to catering staff to support high standards of performance and service delivery Working Pattern: A combination of early, mid and late shifts between the hours of 6am and 5pm.
