Chef – Immediate Start Padstow, Cornwall £15 per hour | Immediate Start | Initial 9-Week Contract Our client is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Chef to join their kitchen team for an immediate start on an initial 9-week contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced street food operation, preparing and serving high-quality dishes in a busy seasonal environment. About the Role The successful candidate will work alongside two other chefs, preparing, cooking, and serving a range of street food dishes, including burgers, tacos and burritos. The kitchen caters for up to 150 covers during peak service periods, so candidates must be confident working in a high-volume environment. Key responsibilities include: • Preparing and cooking high-quality street food dishes. • Ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards are maintained. • Plating dishes quickly and efficiently during busy service periods. • Supporting the wider kitchen team to deliver a smooth and efficient service. • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and health and safety. Working Hours • Four evening shifts per week. • Shifts typically start from 1:00pm onwards . • Some flexibility is available regarding working days. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: • Previous experience working as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment. • Experience working in a high-volume kitchen. • The ability to work efficiently under pressure. • A positive attitude and strong team-working skills. • Immediate availability is preferred.
