About the role
As a Chef de Partie at The White House, Inverness, you will be responsible for running your own section and supporting the senior chefs in the day-to-day operation of a busy kitchen. Working with fresh ingredients, you will prepare and cook high-quality dishes while maintaining excellent standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene. You will work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and the rest of the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service. Key responsibilities include: * Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a high standard. * Managing your own section during service. * Assisting with stock rotation and stock control. * Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in line with HACCP procedures. * Supporting and mentoring junior members of the kitchen team. * Working efficiently during busy service periods. * Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment. * Assisting with menu development and daily specials when required. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a **4-day working week**, **up to £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)**, **card tips**, and opportunities for career progression. **Please note: Accommodation is not available for this position.**
