About the role

Are you an ambitious Chef de Partie ready for your next step, or an experienced Junior Sous Chef looking for a fresh challenge? An established luxury hospitality venue near Beaconsfield is looking for a talented Junior Sous Chef to join its professional kitchen brigade. This is an excellent opportunity to work with quality ingredients, develop your leadership experience and play an important role in delivering memorable dining experiences. Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will help manage the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and maintain consistently high standards of food preparation, presentation and service. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef during preparation and service. - Running kitchen sections confidently and efficiently. - Preparing and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard. - Supervising, supporting and motivating junior chefs. - Helping to organise daily mise en place and service. - Monitoring stock, portion control and food waste. - Maintaining excellent food-safety, allergen and hygiene standards. - Assisting with menu development and seasonal dishes. - Taking responsibility for the kitchen when senior chefs are unavailable. - Working closely with the front-of-house team to deliver a smooth guest experience. We would like to hear from you if you: - Have experience as a Junior Sous Chef or a strong Chef de Partie. - Are confident running a busy kitchen section. - Take pride in cooking with fresh, quality ingredients. - Have strong food preparation and presentation skills. - Can remain calm, organised and professional during busy services. - Enjoy supporting and developing junior team members. - Understand food hygiene, allergens and kitchen safety. - Are reliable, positive and comfortable working as part of a close team. - Can work a flexible hospitality rota, including evenings and weekends. - Already have the right to work in the UK.
