What you’ll do: - Work alongside the Sous Chef to deliver high-quality meals with minimal waste. - Maintain food levels and brand standards across all services. - Prepare delicious dishes for military dining and special events. - Support with kitchen checklists and post-service analysis. - Maintain excellent relationships with mess members, senior officers, and visiting VIPs. - Manage and resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally. - Follow kitchen procedures and hygiene standards. - Take part in ongoing training and development. What we’re looking for: - A relevant culinary qualification. - Previous kitchen experience. - Food safety certification (or willingness to complete via our e-learning). - Effective communication and a team-first attitude and a team-first attitude. - Ability to pass DBS and full security vetting. Additional Requirements: To be eligible, you must: - Have lived in the UK for the past 3 years. - Have the legal right to work in the UK. - Be able to pass DBS and full security vetting.
