Purpose of this role: To prepare, cook and serve meals, delivering a friendly and efficient catering service. Key result areas include: ▪ Prepare and cook food, following health and safety procedure, for planned menus, and ensure individual requirements or preferences are met ▪ Completion of clerical duties to support the Deputy Manager/Catering Supervisor ▪ Stock taking of stores, checking and recording deliveries ▪ Ensure the security and cleanliness of the kitchen, its equipment and surrounding area ▪ Report any faults in equipment, or accidents to the Deputy Manager / Catering Supervisor ▪ Ensure that no food is removed from the premises
