We're on the lookout for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our kitchen team as a Chef Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn while you earn, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, while working towards a nationally recognised Level 2 Production Chef /Commis Chef Apprenticeship. Full Description- • Assisting in the preparation and cooking of dishes following set recipes and procedures • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards • Supporting the kitchen team with stock rotation, deliveries, and general tasks • Learning essential culinary skills under the supervision of experienced chefs • Contributing to a positive, safe, and team-focused working environment Future Prospects • Opportunity for the right candidate to be offered a permanent contract after completing the apprenticeship Training Provided • Delivery to be completed on site and off the job training either at Barnsley College or your place of work. Student to complete Production Chef Level 2. • Regular mentoring and support from qualified chefs • Industry-recognised Level 2 Production Chef qualification upon successful completion. • Hands on experience in a busy kitchen. • Opportunities for progression within our organisation.
