Job Title: Chef Rate of Pay: £13.24 per hour Position Type: PermanentType of Employment: Part TimeHours: 25 hours per weekShift Pattern: Monday to Friday , Early Morning ShiftLocation: B&Q, Rutherford Drive, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, England, NN8 6XA About the Role We are looking for a dependable and skilled Breakfast Cook to join our catering team. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality breakfast meals, ensuring excellent presentation, taste, and timely service. You will also need to cover the lunch cooking when the Chef manager is away. Key Responsibilities -Prepare and cook breakfast dishes in line with menu specifications -Ensure food is ready for service on time and to high standards -Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety practices -Set up and organise kitchen stations for breakfast service -Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering/stock rotation -Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and well-organised -Work collaboratively with the wider catering team Requirements -Previous cooking experience, ideally in a breakfast or fast-paced kitchen environment -Knowledge of food safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene preferred) -Ability to work early mornings and manage time effectively -Strong attention to detail and consistency in food quality -Positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude
