About the role

Temporary Head Chef Seaton, Devon We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Temporary Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at a busy pub in a beautiful coastal village near Seaton, Devon . This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Head Chef who can step into a fast-paced kitchen, lead from the front, and maintain high standards throughout a 10-week assignment. The Role • Lead and manage a kitchen team of 5 chefs and 2 kitchen porters • Oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen • Maintain exceptional food quality, menu consistency, and kitchen standards • Manage stock ordering, food safety, compliance, and kitchen administration • Inspire, support, and motivate the team to deliver an outstanding dining experience Assignment Details • Start Date: ASAP • Duration: Approximately 10 weeks • Hours: Average of 45 hours per week • Pay Rate: £21.00 per hour • Weekly Pay • Holiday Pay • Accommodation: Shared live-in staff accommodation available on site • Parking: Free on-site parking What We're Looking For • Previous experience as a Head Chef • Strong leadership and organisational skills • Ability to manage a busy kitchen and motivate a team • Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance • Available to start immediately If you're an experienced Head Chef looking for your next temporary opportunity and can hit the ground running, we'd love to hear from you.
