About the role

We are looking to recruit a Cook in Charge to join our Catering team at Plascrug Primary School in Aberystwyth on a permanent basis. You will be expected to manage the school kitchen on a day-to day basis according to the standards laid down by Ceredigion County Council. The role includes: - preparation and service of school dinners for pupils at the school - preparation of special diets for pupils as required - ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards - ensuring EEC standards on Manual Handling - general Health and Safety of kitchen including hazardous equipment and premises We are looking to recruit an individual with: - experience/knowledge of working within a catering environment - adaptability In exchange for your skills and commitment, we will offer you a range of employee benefits including competitive annual leave allowance and a generous pension contribution scheme.
