About the role

A lovely family of three based in Wimbledon, London, is seeking an experienced Housekeeper-Cook to help prepare healthy meals and maintain the home to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience and will be confident preparing healthy and nutritious meals for the family. Someone with knowledge of Asian or Indian cuisine would be ideal for this role. The Housekeeper-Cook will be responsible for preparing and serving main courses, salads, soups, snacks, and child-friendly meals. They should also be able to follow specific dietary requirements and help plan menus based on the family’s needs. Alongside cooking duties, the candidate will also carry out light housekeeping tasks, such as keeping the kitchen and living areas clean, tidy, and organised. They will also help with laundry, ironing, and hand washing delicate items when needed. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 4 to 6 hours per day, from 13:00 to 17:00 or 11:00 to 17:00 Duties include: preparing and serving healthy and nutritious meals cooking main courses, salads, soups, snacks, and child-friendly meals following specific dietary requirements preparing menus and keeping track of daily grocery needs keeping the kitchen clean, tidy, and organised clearing away and cleaning rooms where food is eaten keeping the living area tidy and organised collecting, washing, and ironing laundry hand washing delicate items carrying out other reasonable tasks requested by the employer The family is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
