About the role
Our national award winning team are currently looking for a cook to join our team. As a cook at Evergreen, you will join a team who are celebrated for their individuality, whilst having a strong, shared set of values. As our mission statement states, we want all our children to laugh, learn, love and grow and to do so children need nutritious, tasty, home cooked food, made with love. As our nursery cook, you will: Prepare exciting, nutritious meals for our lovely children aged between 0-4, based on what they like to eat and nutritional values Ensure Health and Safety measures are maintained throughout all stages of ordering, delivery, preparation and service Oversee all kitchen operations, making sure that all kitchen facilities are safe and clean to use Accommodate for any special dietary or nutrition requirements Involve and engage the children to support their understanding of healthy eating, personal and social development and safety around mealtimes We are fully committed to developing our team.
