Cook Abbeyfield The Dales Abbeyfield The Dales is a not-for-profit care charity with one mission: Making Time for Older People. We provide a supportive, family-feel working environment guided by our values of Honesty, Caring, Respect and Openness. We are looking for a caring and reliable Cook to join our team. Hours: As and when required Key Duties: • Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences. • Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen, completing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks. • Manage food storage, stock rotation, and labelling in line with food safety standards. • Complete all required food safety records, including temperature checks and cleaning schedules. • Assist with catering for house events and social functions as required. • Provide cover for colleagues and attend training, meetings, and supervision as required. • Follow Health and Safety, food hygiene, and confidentiality policies at all times.
