About the role

The Nursery Cook is responsible for preparing and serving healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 3 months to 5 years, ensuring all food is prepared safely and in line with food hygiene standards. They will cater for individual dietary requirements, allergies, and cultural preferences while maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen. The Nursery Cook is also responsible for managing food stock, ordering supplies, recording temperatures, and ensuring all food safety documentation is completed accurately. They work closely with the nursery team to promote healthy eating and provide a positive mealtime experience for children.
