Key Responsibilities Food Preparation: Wash, peel, chop, and prepare fruits, vegetables, meat, and poultry; assist in basic cooking and recipe execution as directed by the chef. Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize work surfaces, floors, walls, and kitchen equipment; wash and store dishes, utensils, and cooking appliances. Inventory and Stock Management: Organize storage areas, check inventories, track food wastage, and ensure ingredients and tools are readily accessible. Support to Kitchen Staff: Assist chefs and cooks with meal preparation, stirring and heating soups or sauces, and preparing hot beverages. Compliance: Follow food hygiene, health, and safety regulations; ensure proper documentation of recipes, ingredients, and kitchen procedures. Additional Duties: Empty garbage, collect used towels and uniforms, assist with unloading deliveries, and maintain overall kitchen organization.
