About the role

Advert Kitchen Assistant St Andrews Primary School 9 hours per week Permanent, Term Time £29,909 - £30,237 pro rata £15.50 – £15.67 per hour The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance. You will be reporting to the Service Manager – Corporate Catering. Your working pattern is Thursday – Friday, 09:00 – 14:00, including a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible. Applications are invited from motivated individuals to undertake duties as a kitchen assistant, assisting with the school meal service at St Andrews Primary School. Duties include serving meals, basic food preparation and cooking, operating the till, setting up and clearing down the dining area, washing up and cleaning. The necessary qualification, experience and skills required for this role are detailed in the ‘must have’ section of the attached job profile. These criteria are used for decisions on shortlisting and appointment of applicants. This post is a regulated role with children and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
