About the role

Buchanan Lodge Care Home, located in the quiet, leafy suburb of Bearsden in North Glasgow, is a thoughtfully converted former convent offering Residential, Nursing, Respite, and Dementia care for 38- residents. Here, we blend the building's historic charm with modern comforts to create a warm and supportive environment Kitchen Assistant Up to £12.71 per hour Contracted to 12 hours per week Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard. You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times. This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
