Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook / Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for 20 residents as well as maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our kitchen and housekeeping areas.

This is a dual role - candidate must be confident in both housekeeping and cooking in a remote setting.

Point of Hire: Adelaide SA - will be FIFO/DIDO

Location: Remote SA site

Roster: 2/1

Start date: ASAP

Skills:

- Strong cooking skills

- Knowledge of food safety regulations

- Ability to multitask

- Ability to work independently or as part of a small team

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes

- Ensure all food is cooked safely and meets quality standards

- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas regularly

- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and countertops

- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies needed for cooking

- Housekeeping of rooms

-Common area cleaning

Qualifications:

- Proven experience working as a Cook or Cleaner in a remote service industry

- Knowledge of food safety regulations

- Food Safety Training- Essential

- Current National Police Check (within the last 3 months)

- Strong organizational skills
