Position summary

As a Casual Commis Chef, you will support the kitchen brigade in delivering high-quality food across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banqueting operations. Working under the guidance of the Executive Chef, you will perform food preparation and culinary duties while ensuring your section is fully prepared and maintained for service.

What you’ll do

• Prepare ingredients and dishes in accordance with recipes, quality standards, and kitchen procedures.
• Support breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banqueting food production requirements.
• Maintain your designated kitchen section to ensure service readiness at all times.
• Assist senior chefs with food preparation and presentation.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards consistently.
• Monitor product quality and ensure only high-standard ingredients are used.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working area throughout each shift.
