Your Role:

As a Baker at COBS Bread, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for creating fresh and delicious artisan bread and treats that our community loves. Our bakers start their day early, transforming an empty kitchen into a vibrant bakery filled with the delightful aromas of freshly baked goods. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about bread-making and eager to learn, regardless of their previous experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Work with a small team to bake a variety of products from scratch each morning, adhering to our carefully crafted recipes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bakery environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Read production schedules and recipes, measure and mix ingredients, mold and shape dough, and operate baking equipment.

  • What We Are Looking For: Early risers who can start shifts as early as 2:00 AM. A positive attitude and willingness to learn, regardless of previous experience. Team players with strong communication and organizational skills. A commitment to producing high-quality baked goods while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the bakery. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 22 kg (50 lbs). Frequent reaching, bending, and turning while performing baking tasks. Constant use of hands for mixing, shaping, and operating baking equipment.
