Food Production Worker

Beefy’s are growing!. We have opportunities for Food Production Assistants to join our friendly factory team at Kunda Park on the Sunshine Coast.

Beefy’s proudly make a wide range of scrumptious pies, pasties, sausage rolls, slices, tarts, cakes and much more! Our premium products are well known in SE Qld and have won multiple awards. Our production facility in Kunda Park on the beautiful Sunshine Coast (near Maroochydore) supplies our now 16 stores across SE Qld & NSW.

The Roles

Various roles/shifts are available, all involve working day shifts Monday to Friday.

Shifts include afternoon shift 10am and 6pm; early* shift from 3.30am til 11am and mid shift from 6-7am til 2-3pm.

Up to 38 hours per week is available though we offer flexible working conditions and will consider full time, part time and casual employment opportunities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• General food production duties
• *Early shift involves some machine operation and pastry making (full training provided)
• Cleaning duties
• Following strict hygiene processes
• Picking, packing or production line work
• Preparing ingredients
• Stock rotation
• Ensuring compliance to Food Safety & HACCP principles and Company Policies & Procedures
• Continual development of processes and systems to make the quality process more efficient
• Ensure production and Food Safety records are completed and correctly recorded as required
• Ensure all Work Health & Safety procedures and policies are followed

The successful applicant will ideally have worked in a similar environment, be physically fit and able to do physical tasks including lifting up to 25kg and standing for long periods; they will also have a great work ethic, reliability and a positive attitude.
