About the Role

This is a full time position with a rotating roster. You will be working closely with the Kitchen Manager leading the kitchen team during your assigned shifts, ensuring smooth service, consistent food quality and high kitchen standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Supervise the kitchen team and allocate duties during service.
• Ensure steaks, ribs and other menu items meet company standards.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, portion control and service times.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Assist with staff training and development.
• Monitor stock, deliveries and food wastage.
• Ensure kitchen procedures are followed and communicate operational issues to management.
• Work closely with front-of-house to deliver smooth service.

You Are Someone Who:

• Has commercial kitchen experience, with previous supervisory experience
• Takes pride in food quality and presentation.
• Has strong cooking skills and knowledge of food safety.
• Can lead a team and remain organised under pressure.
• Has a positive attitude, strong work ethic and hands-on approach.
• Is available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Commercial cookery qualifications
• Current Food Handling Certificate.
