What will you be doing?

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to ensure an exceptional guest and member experience. You will also be required to prepare all necessary mise en place and contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives.

Specifically, you will be responsible for the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with company guidelines.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas at all times, ensuring the prevention of cross-contamination.
• Prepare all required mise en place for the relevant menus.
• Collaborate with other departments when necessary and maintain positive working relationships.
• Report any maintenance, hygiene, or safety issues.
• Comply with hotel security procedures, fire regulations, and all health, safety, and food hygiene legislation.
• Be aware of departmental targets and work as part of the team to achieve them.
• Demonstrate environmental awareness and support sustainable practices.

• Professional culinary training or relevant vocational qualification.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a similar kitchen role.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
