Your key responsibilities

Rocco Forte Hotels are a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.

We are looking for a talented and passionate Demi Chef de Partie to join our Banqueting Kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional food quality for weddings, conferences, private dining events, and banquets for over 400 guests.

Working alongside an expert team of chefs, you will play a key role in preparing and presenting outstanding dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and consistency.

As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:

• Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes for banqueting and events
• Ensure all food is prepared and served to the highest quality standards
• Support the delivery of large functions, conferences, weddings, and special events
• Maintain excellent levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in accordance with company and legal requirements
• Use the finest products and cook from scratch to create a unique experience for our guests
• Work alongside the chefs to prepare and present food to the highest standards
• Ensure all food preparation is completed efficiently and within service timelines
• Be able to work under pressure during busy periods
• Have extensive training but should be capable of self-direction and self-reliance in a busy kitchen environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the kitchen and wider hotel operation.
• Contribute ideas for menu development and continuous improvement.
