Job Description: 1. Operational & Kitchen Management Manage day-to-day kitchen operations ensuring quality and cost efficiency Supervise and coordinate chefs and food preparation staff Monitor staffing levels to meet operational and guest service needs Ensure all food-related functions run smoothly Oversee purchasing and receiving processes with proper controls 2. Leadership & Team Management Provide direction, guidance, and performance management to kitchen associates Lead by example demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and work ethic Build a culture of trust, respect, and teamwork Use strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence and motivate staff Encourage collaboration and cooperation among team members 3. Financial & Cost Control Manage controllable expenses (food cost, supplies, uniforms, equipment) Support sound financial and business decision-making Ensure operations align with financial objectives 4. Menu Development & Culinary Direction Provide direction and input into menu development Ensure alignment of menu offerings with guest expectations and business goals 5. Compliance, Safety & Procedures Develop and implement control procedures for purchasing and receiving Ensure adherence to food safety standards and procedures Communicate safety protocols clearly to staff Monitor compliance with safety regulations and codes 6. Guest Experience & Service Excellence Lead efforts to deliver exceptional guest experiences Address guest needs and ensure high service standards Review guest feedback (comment cards, satisfaction scores) Identify and implement service improvements Support team coaching to enhance service delivery 7.
