This is more than a traditional staff dining role. You will own the day-to-day operation of Talent Dining, bringing creativity, consistency and personality into every service while maintaining the standards expected within a luxury lifestyle hotel. As Employee Dining Chef, key aspects of your role will include (but are not limited to): Prepare and deliver daily meals for hotel talent to a consistently high standard Create rotating weekly menus with a focus on freshness, seasonality and variety Deliver balanced options that cater to different dietary requirements and preferences Manage ordering, stock rotation and minimise food waste Maintain excellent food hygiene, HACCP and allergen controls Keep the Talent Dining area clean, welcoming and engaging Support internal activations, celebrations and themed dining events Collaborate with the wider culinary team to maximise produce utilisation Our ideal Employee Dining Chef is someone who has Previous kitchen experience in hotels, restaurants, contract catering or staff dining Passion for delivering quality food and creating positive experiences Ability to work independently and manage a daily food operation Good organisational skills and attention to detail Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen standards Positive attitude and team-first mindset In return for your hard work we give you Monday to Friday working pattern Competitive hourly rate plus tronc Meals on duty Marriott International benefits and career progression opportunities Access to training and development programmes Team recognition and engagement initiatives Opportunity to shape and own the Talent Dining experience at W Edinburgh ABOUT THE PROPERTY W Edinburgh brings bold architecture and a vibrant lifestyle offering to the Scottish capital.
