We work every day to elevate our associate’s experience! You will: Be accountable for overall success of the daily kitchen operations. Exhibit culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions. Work to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Supervise all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high quality product is produced. Responsible for guiding and developing staff including direct reports. Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved. Be driven by a deep, authentic love for cooking and hospitality, with a relentless commitment to creating extraordinary dining experiences that leave a lasting impression on every guest. Key Responsibilities Ensuring culinary standards and responsibilities are met: Manages kitchen shift operations and ensure compliance with all Food & Beverage policies, standards and procedures Provides direction for all day-to-day operations Develops, designs or creates new applications, ideas, relationships, system or products including artistic contributions Assists in determining how food should be presented and creates decorative food displays Maintains purchasing, receiving and food storage standards Maintaining Goals for Culinary Function and Activities Implements guidelines and control procedures for purchasing and receiving areas Communicates the importance of safety procedures, detailing procedures codes, ensuring employee understanding of safety codes, monitoring processes and procedures related to safety. Manages department controllable expenses including food costs, supplies, uniforms and equipment Leading Kitchen Operations Leads shifts while personally preparing food and executing requests based on required specifications Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with associates Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviour Communicates performance expectations in accordance with job description for each position Benefits, Perks & Rewards Full Time contract.
