About the role

Overlooking the scenic South China Sea, an hour away by ferry from Singapore, Mövenpick  Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon will introduce Swiss-inspired hospitality to Bintan in celebration of Mövenpick's rich culinary legacy. The resort is set to be the new beach getaway destination for all generations with standout facilities, including 420 rooms & suites, two golf course, three lagoon swimming pools, unique restaurant concepts, a two-storey beach club, spacious event spaces. Wellness will also be an integral part of the resort experience, with a vast wellness and recreation village that will feature a gym, a spa, and Kid Club. Ensures consistent quality and presentation of all food production while effectively managing expenses. Minimizes waste through accurate ordering, adherence to par levels, efficient production processes, and strict sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards. Drives team productivity by providing ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship. Degree in Culinary Arts or a related discipline preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in luxury hotel or fine‑dining kitchens with strong operational expertise. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Strong proficiency in Indian cuisine, food safety and sanitation standards, and Microsoft Office applications. The ability to challenge the norm and work in an environment that is both creative and rewarding.
