We are thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity to join our esteemed culinary team at the renowned Fairmont Olympic Hotel as a Cook II. This is a full-time position, mainly working dinner service in the staff cafeteria. As a Cook II, you will have the chance to learn and expand on your culinary skills while creating exceptional meals for the Olympic staff. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of cafeteria-style meals Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent quality and taste Handle food ingredients and kitchen equipment with care and precision Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet service and production goals Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times Assist with receiving and storing food supplies Your experience and skills include: Able to work in a high-pressure environment Valid Food Handler Certificate required (can be acquired upon hire.) Previous experience in the culinary field preferred Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical Requirements Include: Constant standing and walking throughout shift Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
