The Cook thrives in structure, finds pride in precision, and brings discipline to a fast-paced environment where excellence is non-negotiable.  Start Date: June 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: First Cook - $21.82 per hour Second Cook - $20.57 per hour What You'll Be Doing: Craft with Care  Prepare, season, and cook dishes to exact specifications, consistently meeting Rimrock’s luxury standards.  Follow recipes, presentation standards, and dietary requirements with precision and accuracy.  Craft dishes that honor local ingredients, reflecting both sustainability and a sense of place.  Operational Excellence  Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, with strong technical expertise.  Uphold HACCP, FOODSAFE, and sanitation standards; maintain a spotless, well-organized station.  Complete tasks methodically, ensuring quality and timeliness in every service period.  Team & Culture  Collaborate with a passionate team of culinary professionals, supporting colleagues with care and reliability.  Value established guidelines and teamwork while fostering a high-performance culture.  Embody Rimrock values of connection, growth, and authenticity through every dish and interaction.  What You Bring  Experience in a high-volume, luxury kitchen.   Culinary degree an asset Strong knife skills and mastery of core cooking techniques (grilling, frying, sautéing, plating).  High attention to detail with the ability to remain calm, precise, and consistent under pressure.  Food Handler certification A disciplined, detail-oriented approach, combined with a team-first mindset.  Bonus If You Bring  Experience with sustainable, local, or farm-to-table cuisine.  Knowledge of advanced culinary techniques or international flavors.  Curiosity and passion for continuous learning and skill development.  Job Perks & Benefits:  Comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Vision & Dental) including extended benefits like; Mental Health, Orthodontics, Fertility Drugs and Gender Affirmation for full time permanent status employees after 3 months.   Defined Contribution Pension Plan with employer matching up to 5% of annual earnings for full time permanent status employees.  Employee travel program with discounts on room rates as well as on food & beverage at Accor properties world-wide.  Access to the Mountain Explorer Travel Program, exclusive room rates for colleagues, which includes 50% off all food & beverage when staying at Accor Hotels in Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper & Whistler.  One complimentary buffet meal per shift in our staff cafeteria.  Subsidized shared Staff Accommodation.  Apply Today:  Whether you're just starting your journey or seeking your next adventure, we’d love to hear from you.
