About the role

Plantation Lakes Golf & Country Club and The Landing Bar & Grille in Millsboro, DE is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Full-Time Line Cook to join our culinary team at The Landing Bar & Grille. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Compensation: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour Key Responsibilities: Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and presentation standards Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation Assist with food preparation, stocking, and kitchen organization Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper portion control Work efficiently during high-volume service periods Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations Assist with banquet and special event food preparation as needed Qualifications: Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Positive attitude and strong work ethic What We Offer: Competitive hourly pay based on experience Flexible scheduling Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment Employee dining discounts The opportunity to work in one of Sussex County's premier golf and dining destinations Benefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms: Healthcare Benefits – Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Retirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older) Time Off – Paid time off (PTO) and leaves of absence, in accordance with applicable law and eligibility criteria Additional Compensation – Employee Meals Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.
