Columbus Country Club, located in Columbus, OH , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Cook ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Key Responsibilities: Ensure cleanliness of kitchen walk-in coolers and storage rooms Assist with stocking and rotation of inventory upon arrival and ensure invoice accuracy Prepare menu items in accordance with established standards and specifications Support and uphold the Food and Beverage vision by fostering respect, warmth, friendliness, and pride Represent the club in a professional manner and promote a positive image to guests and staff Always operate in a safe manner Perform other duties as assigned by management Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Certificates/Licenses: Food handler’s certification Local health and alcohol awareness certification Job Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Preferences: Basic cooking skills Sauté and broiler experience Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds overhead Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, fumes, and exhaust Must be able to operate a golf cart in a safe manner Repetitive motion required in food preparation Must stand for extended periods Normal vision and hearing required Benefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms: Healthcare Benefits – Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Retirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older) Time Off – Paid time off (PTO) and leaves of absence, in accordance with applicable law and eligibility criteria Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.
