Columbus Country Club, located in Columbus, OH , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Grill Cook ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare and execute all grilled menu items including proteins, sandwiches, and accompaniments according to recipes and plating standards Maintain proper cooking temperatures, portion control, and food presentation at all times Set up and break down the grill station before and after service Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service standards and ticket times Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures in compliance with local health regulations Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked grill station throughout service Communicate effectively with chefs, expeditors, and fellow line cooks during service Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and labeling as needed Properly store food items following FIFO standards Support other kitchen stations as business levels require Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Certificates/Licenses: Food handler’s certification Local health and alcohol awareness certification Job Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Preferences: Basic cooking skills Sauté and broiler experience Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds overhead Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, fumes, and exhaust Must be able to operate a golf cart in a safe manner Repetitive motion required in food preparation Must stand for extended periods Normal vision and hearing required Benefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms: Healthcare Benefits – Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Retirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older) Time Off – Paid time off (PTO) and leaves of absence, in accordance with applicable law and eligibility criteria Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.
