Job Description Spice up the kitchen scene by assisting the team in cooking up dishes that are a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. Our Ambassador will: Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs in preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards. Assist in operating assigned kitchen sections, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to recipes. Prepare and cook staff and guest meals with attention to quality, timing, and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work areas, equipment, and food storage following health regulations. Monitor ingredient use, help reduce waste, and follow cost-effective preparation methods. Learn and assist in menu planning, ordering supplies, and understanding food and labour cost management. Follow hygiene, safety, and kitchen procedures, developing skills and knowledge under supervision. Qualifications Minimum 18 months experience in a similar role. Completed National Certificate in Hospitality Level 4 in Professional Cookery. Physically fit and able to stand and work efficiently for full shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Highly organised with strong time management, numeracy, and communication skills. Professional presentation and interpersonal skills, projecting a polished image at all times. Willingness and aptitude for ongoing development and training under Ibis standards. Ability to build rapport, manage stress effectively, and contribute positively to a collaborative kitchen team.
