Ski perks (vary based on employment status) may include Deer Valley season pass, free skiing or riding at other Alterra Resorts and select local Utah resorts Friends and family ski discounts, free staff ski lessons and discounted rentals (winter staff only) Subsidized meals at Employee Dining Rooms offered for staff while on shift Subsidized housing options available for seasonal full-time staff Discounts for staff members at restaurants, shops, and service providers in Park City Healthcare options are available for staff members 401k plan with company match PURPOSE OF POSITION: A C ook II is responsible for assisting the sous chef and C ook III with preparation and presentation of daily menus, restocking, and serving selections at stations where lines develop during peak hours. RESPONSIBILITES: Cook dishes according to recipes and develop new food selections in conjunction with the sous chef and executive chef Keep service lines clean, change pans as needed, and ensure food selections are well-stocked and appropriately garnished Ensure mise- en -place is in sufficient quantities for the day’s requirements Properly store and rotate food to ensure freshness and avoid waste Completed daily inventories Assist servers during busy times Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Previous cooking experience required Able to stand for long periods of time and l ift and carry 25 – 50 lbs.
