Qualifications: 3 - 5 years cooking experience in upscale, high-volume hotel or freestanding restaurant preferred. Culinary experience required. Thorough knowledge and understanding of Food Service Sanitation Standards required. Strong organizational skills required. Excellent Guest Service skills required. Ability to stand, stoop, bend and lift items weighting up to 50 pounds repetitively required. Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members, leaders and guests required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required. Responsibilities: Thorough knowledge and understanding of Food Service Sanitation Standards. Ability to stand, stoop, bend; lift and carry up to 35 pounds. Thorough knowledge and understanding of standard kitchen equipment and its use, such as fryer, grill, sauté and broiler. Follows standardized recipes in the preparation and cooking of menu items Uses knives, slicers, mixers, choppers, grinders and all other equipment in a safe manner according to the manufacture's recommendations. Other duties as assigned.
