Garden State Hotel is already one of Melbourne CBD’s iconic multi-level venues, and we’re getting ready to take things to a whole new level with the arrival of our brand-new Rooftop Garden, opening in mid-October.

Currently under construction, the Rooftop Garden will sit above the existing venue across two tiered levels, creating a new open-air destination overlooking Melbourne CBD, designed for long afternoons, after-work catch-ups and weekend sessions.

And the best part? You can join us now. Garden State is continuing to trade throughout the build, meaning you’ll be part of the team from the beginning and get to experience the excitement as the new rooftop comes to life.

We’re looking for people who:

• Have experience in a busy commercial kitchen for Chef roles
• Are keen to learn, develop and grow their skills
• Bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Can work well as part of a fast-paced kitchen team
• Are reliable and comfortable working across a rotating roster, including nights and weekends
• For Kitchen Porters, bring great attention to detail and take pride in keeping a busy kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly
