Chefs | Salt Bar

Salt Bar is gearing up for a busy summer period and we’re looking for a Casual Commis Chef and Cook to join the kitchen team.

Located in the heart of Salt Village, Salt Bar is a busy coastal pub serving up pub classics, seafood and seasonal favourites.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the kitchen team across prep and service
• Working across a busy pub-style kitchen
• Maintaining food quality, presentation and consistency
• Following food safety and kitchen standards
• Keeping your section clean, organised and ready for service
• Working as part of a supportive and fast-paced team

What we’re looking for

• Previous kitchen experience preferred
• Commis Chef: great opportunity to build your skills in a busy kitchen
• Cook: confident working across prep and service
• Reliable, positive and willing to get stuck in
• Ability to work across busy periods, including weekends
• Availability over the upcoming summer period
