We are looking for a culinary and innovative Chef de Cuisine with extensive experience in Italian cuisine. At heart, you are an “Italian Nonna": passionate about authentic flavors, deeply connected to Italian food culture, and dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences. You understand the culinary essence of Italy and bring it to life with creativity, craftsmanship, and a modern approach in our Assoluto Ristorante & Vineria. From contemporary pizza and pasta creations to refined fine dining dishes, you will shape a unique restaurant concept that celebrates the full diversity of Italian cuisine. In addition, you and your team will be responsible for the culinary offering of our modern and international westhub bar & lounge as well as our room service operations. As an experienced leader, you know how to inspire, develop and motivate your team while maintaining the highest quality standards. With your passion for food, strong understanding of current F&B trends, eye for detail, and creative execution, you create experiences that transport our guests straight to Italy. What your responsibilities are... You are in charge of the operational & creative management of the a la carte kitchen and support the Executive Head Chef in administration. Your responsibilities include the Italian a la carte restaurant Assoluto, Assoluto Deli, westhub bar & Lounge, MClub Lounge, Cloud6 and room service area. You are able to maintain an overview and lead and guide your team accordingly. You create creative and innovative menu planning and cost calculations based on the F&B concept. You optimize the productivity and efficiency of the assigned areas. You provide technical and operational leadership to the a la carte restaurant kitchen team and work closely with the service team. You monitor the kitchen in terms of cleanliness and maintenance (HAACP). You make and oversee optimal purchases and orders of food and supplies in consultation with the Executive Head Chef. You continuously evaluate food trends, market developments, and guest preferences to keep our culinary offerings relevant, innovative, and competitive. You are a true team player with all F&B departments and the leadership team. You are responsible for the development of our kitchen team and the training of our apprentices and enjoy sharing your extensive knowledge. Social media is not a foreign word to you, and you regularly provide content for our marketing team. That's what we want from you.... You have several years of professional experience in a comparable position You have a lot of experience with Italian cuisine and understand its essence You have a modern leadership style and extensive experience in leading and motivating employees Your creativity and ability to implement ideas is accompanied by a great sense of culinary trends Your strong sense of quality and high standards are reflected in everything you do You are a skilled communicator with German and good English language skills Your commercial and organizational knowledge and skills form the basis for your decisions Your winning personality, can-do attitude, and hands-on mentality come naturally Your customer focus and willingness to perform inspire your team to achieve great things Your enthusiasm and willingness to share your knowledge with your team and trainees is contagious!
