Job description
The ideal candidate will be a driven chef who thrives in a high-volume environment with a passion for culinary excellence and incorporating current trends, a talent for training and developing others, and excels at building comradery amongst teams. The preferred candidate will be an inspirational, passionate leader with a minimum of 1-2 years of kitchen management experience. Union management experience is a huge plus! The Hilton Chicago is looking for a Banquet Chef to grow their team! Located on South Michigan Avenue and overlooking Grant Park and Lake Michigan, this historic hotel has been meticulously redesigned and restored in a way that preserves the magnificence of its early 20th Century style while incorporating all of the 21st Century conveniences our guests expect. As a Banquet Chef, you’re not just leading culinary production for banquet events – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
